MeLE PCG02 GML (Gemini Lake) Fanless TV Stick Coming in June for $180 and Up

MeLE launched PCG02 Apo HDMI TV Stick based on Intel Celeron N3450 Apollo Lake processor and featuring a Gigabit Ethernet port last month. The company is now showcasing the product at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair, and promoting their next generation TV stick based on the same design, but instead powered by Intel Celeron N4000 or N4100 Gemini Lake processor. MintBox Mini 2 / Mini 2 Pro Apollo Lake Mini PCs to Ship with Linux Mint 19

While there are plenty of low power x86 mini PCs running Windows 10, and although in most case it’s always possible to install a Linux distributions yourself, it’s much more difficult to find products that ships with Linux by default. Launched a few years ago, MintBox Mini and MintBox Mini Pro mini PCs are such options being powered by AMD A4 Micro-6400T and AMD A10 Micro-6700T processor respectively, and running Linux Mint. The Mint team has now announced upgraded versions with MiniBox Mint 2 and MiniBox Mini 2 Pro, both based on Intel Celeron J3455 quad core Apollo Lake processor, and just differing by the amount of memory and storage. Toshiba Unveils dynaEdge AR Smart Glasses Powered by a Portable Windows Mini PC

Smart glasses have never really gained traction in the consumer space, but they can still be useful in the workplace, especially with augmented reality, where relevant data can be overlaid on top of the user’s view. Toshiba has launched one of those products with dynaEdge AR smart glasses, but instead of having the battery and electronics on the glasses themselves, a portable mini PC running Windows takes care of the heavy lifting and the battery.
