Another potentially interesting deal is the new Alfawise U30 3D printer which can be bought on GearBest for $165.99 plus shipping ($7.57 here) with coupon GBBFEX017. The 3D printer is also said to offer safety features, support for left handed people, and resume after power failure or running out of filament.

The 3D printer supports G-code, OBJ, and STL file formats, and Cura, Repetier-Host,and Simplify3D programs are recommended. For reference the cheaper Anet A8 is said to take 4 to 5 hours to assemble if you have some experience, and a full day for people with less experience. I did not have ‘Apply’, used only – GBBFEX017. And, still does not work. Perhaps it’s for only EU plug-version does?!? Shipping is not $7.57 by $20.xx
I used an address in Thailand for that one. That may explain why shipping is lower.
The US plug and EU plug have different pages, so that must be the reason why the code does not work.

the restore printing feature and filament detection are nice features which can safe some prints and allow to use remains of materials. I see a potential problem with this printer. the axis on the bottom is moved and balanced on a single centered rail and the other axis only has one screw rail and one stepper motor only.
