Dust, Water, and Shock-Proof GOLE F7 10.1″ Rugged Tablet Runs Windows 10

Shenzhen GOLE Technology is known for its tablet mini PC combos that mix the features of mini PCs and tablets into one device. Some example or GOLE F6 (aka GOLE 10), or GOLE1 Plus.

Their latest model, GOLE F7, is closer to what we’d think of a traditional tablet, but the 10.1″ Cherry Trail tablet is fairly thick and rugged, with the company’s highlighting its “triple-proofing” capabilities, namely dust-proofness, waterproofness and resistance to shocks.

Some of the expected applications include UAV control panel, outdoor HMI, restaurant/retail point-of-sale (PoS), and any applications that may benefit from the rugged nature of the tablet, while not necessitating a lot of processing power.

The tablet runs Windows 10 Home or Pro, but some of the marketing materials we were given showed it running Android. I was asked not to show them, but maybe it’s also possible to make a custom order of sufficient volume with Android instead.
