GEEKOM AS 6 is an AMD Ryzen 6000 mini PC developed in collaboration with ASUS that aims to provide a cost-effective alternative to the Intel NUC 13 Arena Canyon mini PC powered by an Intel Core i7-1360P Raptor Lake-P hybrid SoC.
The mini PC is equipped with either an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX or Ryzen 7 6800H processor, supports up to 64GB DDR5 memory, three storage options with two NVMe sockets and one 2.5-inch SATA drive bay, and can drive up to four independent displays thanks to two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 output, and two Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 ports. Networking is the same as on the NUC with 2.5GbE, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The performance of the selected AMD Ryzen 9 and Intel Raptor Lake processor is comparable, but the GEEKOM AS 6 mini PC offers a few more features as well as extra accessories. While the Intel NUC 13 Pro only comes with a power adapter and a user guide by default, the GEEKOM AS 6 mini PC also adds a VESA mount, mounting screw packs, and a Quick Start Guide.
The GEEKOM AS 6 is “coming soon”, but we do know pricing will start at $799 to $899 depending on the selected processor once it launches on the GEEKOM store in the next few weeks or months.

That’s because it’s a PN53 with a Geekom logo printed on it 🙂

Why are amd mini PC’s always 2 years behind.the laptop’s that use the same chips? Ryzen 6000 is old news, where are the Zen4 mini PC’s?
Bad take considering that the Ryzen 7040 mobile launch has been delayed until the end of April. A week from now.

AMD has been making habit of selling older silicon anyways, with Rembrandt 7035-series, and Barcelo-R 7030-series (aka The Refresh of the Cezanne Refresh).
Since this is Rembrandt with 680M graphics, it’s a big leap from Cezanne in terms of graphics performance. Phoenix is more of an incremental upgrade with the possible exception of the XDNA AI accelerator. Strix Point could be more exciting if the 16-core rumors are true.
Yes the Zen 4 mobile chips are still “coming soon”, but this box is also “coming soon”. Whilst we will see laptops with Zen4 end of April, there wont be mini-pcs featuring these chips end of April. More like end of 2024. No dispute the 680M is a leap from Cezanne, but that misses my point which is laptops got this big leap a long time ago. Laptops are getting another leap with the RDNA3 780M. How is it that a machine with 2 X nvme slots has “up to 2TB storage capacity”? What stops me putting 2 4TB ssds in it. Will that really not work?
