SECO Pi Vision 10.1 CM5 is an industrial-grade, IP66-rated Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solution powered by the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. It also features the Raspberry Pi CM5 IO board and a 10.1-inch multi-touch display with 1280×800 resolution.
Since it’s based on the official IO board, it exposes two HDMI video outputs, a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jack, and two USB 3.0 ports. It also features an internal M.2 M-Key socket for storage expansion or an AI accelerator, and a 40-pin Raspberry Pi GPIO header.

The Pi Vision 10.1 CM5 supports the Yocto Linux-built Clea OS with “enterprise-grade management” including OTA updates, remote management, and AI-at-the-edge or Raspberry Pi OS for rapid prototyping.
What’s unusual for a complete product is that they appear to have taken part of the “Raspberry Pi Development Kit for CM5” with the CM5 module, IO board, and a modified version of the metal case to make a complete product. Companies will often create a custom carrier board for commercial products, but SECO mainly attached a HAT (CSF33REVB) with what appears to be a Texas Instruments SN65DSI83-Q1 automotive-grade MIPI DSI to LVDS bridge to control the attached display, and also did some mechanical engineering work.
Target applications include smart building & HVAC, industrial & factory control, retail & kiosks, vending machines, and smart appliances. It’s not quite the first Raspberry Pi CM5 HMI solution with a 10.1-inch touchscreen display, as EDATEC and Chipsee launched theirs earlier this year. Besides software support, one other difference is that the front panel for the SECO model is IP66 rated, while competing CM5 HMI solutions did not mention IP ratings at launch (The EDATEC’s model front display is now IP65 rated).
The Seco Pi Vision 10.1 CM5 was first unveiled at Embedded World 2025 with limited details, but it’s now available in limited quantities and at an introductory price of €239. I suppose that’s for the 2GB RAM/16GB eMMC flash model, as the company also offers a variant with a 8GB/64GB Raspberry Pi CM5 module. Additional information may be found on the product page.
