AAEON provides support for Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.04 with Linux kernel 6.11. The design and features are pretty similar to the ADLINK COM-HPC-mMTL COM-HPC Mini module, which is only offered with Intel Meteor Lake-H (Series 1) processors, and not the newer Intel Arrow-Lake-H (Series 2) SoCs, at least not for now. The list of advertised Meteor Lake options for the ADLINK module is much longer and ranges from the 15W Intel Core Ultra 5 125U up to the 28W Intel Core Ultra 7 165H. Nevertheless, either company can probably accommodate any pin-compatible SKU for volume orders upon request. Another COM-HPC Mini Meteor Lake-H option we haven’t covered (yet) is the TQ Systems TQMxCU1-HPCM.
AAEON does not seem to offer a COM-HPC Mini carrier board for evaluation, but any compatible board should work. AAEON says the HPC-ARHm is in mass production. More details can be found on the product page.
