VIEWE has launched a 4-inch round HDMI display with 720×720 resolution, and a USB touchscreen function suitable for SBCs like the Raspberry Pi, PCs running AIDA64, Smart Home applications, and Art projects.
It looks to build upon the company’s 4-inch square HDMI display using the same control board with a MIPI DSI display interface, HDMI 1.4 input, and a USB Type-C port for power and touch input.
VIEWE 4-inch HDMI round display specifications:

- Brightness – 300 cd/㎡
- Active area – 101.52mm ∅

- USB – USB-C port for power and touchscreen

Since it’s just an HDMI display, the company says it can be used with Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, and computers, notably for systems running AIDA64 to display sensor panels, for Sim Racing dashboards, smart home control bars, and various creative projects.
It works without drivers, and users just need to connect the HDMI and USB cables for video, touchscreen, and power. The documentation for this specific model is not up yet, but I suspect it will just work out of the box with most boards. For Raspberry Pi boards, you may need to edit the /boot/config.txt file using the same parameters as with the 4-in square model:
|
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 |
hdmi_force_edid_audio=1 max_usb_current=1 hdmi_force_hotplug=1 config_hdmi_boost=7 hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=87 hdmi_drive=2 720 60 6 0 0 hdmi_cvt 720 60 6 0 0 |

It’s not the first small HDMI round display we’ve covered, and the Elecrow 2.8-inch round IPS display is another option, albeit without touchscreen support. We also wrote about the Waveshare ESP32-P4-WIFI6-Touch-LCD-4C last June, but it’s a complete system with an ESP32-P4 MCU and a 4-inch round touchscreen display.
VIEWE’s “4-inch round touchscreen display with HDMI driver board” is currently sold for $42.61 on AliExpress. While looking for alternatives, I also noticed Waveshare sells a very similar product with a different hardware design (board mounted on the back of the display with case and larger bezels, 10-point touch) for $110.99 on Amazon, $81.89 on AliExpress (promo from $90.99), and $89.99 on the Waveshare shop.
