The company provides support for Windows 10/11 (LTSC) and Ubuntu 22.04 Linux. The MD-3000 comes with the default option listed in the specifications above, but you can expand it with various 2-slot, 4-slot, or 6-slot Scalable Expansion Dock (SED) modules.
These add I/Os, POE, extra M.2 sockets, and, in the case of SED-402 and SED-601 modules, a 2.5-inch bay for data storage. I/Os is a generic term listed in the table below, but in practise that means additional RS232/RS485 COM ports, USB 3.2 ports, RJ45 / M12 Ethernet up to 10GbE, up to 16x isolated DIO via a 20-pin terminal block, and more.

With a chassis height of about 150 mm, the MD-3000 embedded computer’s volume is compared to that of a PLC, which enables integration into cabinets along with other industrial equipment.

Cincoze did not provide availability and pricing information on the product page, but the MD-3000-R1 is listed on the MITXPC website starting at $1989.90 in a barebone configuration with an Intel Core i3-14100 SoC. You can build your own system, selecting required options, and a maxed-out system with Intel Core i9-14900 SoC, 96GB RAM, two 4TB NVMe SSDs, and a 4-slot scalable expansion deck fitted with 4x GbE, 2x RS232/RS485, 4x USB 3.2, and 16x isolated I/Os module goes for $5,719.61 before adding the OS installation fee and power supply.
