Arduino UNO Q 4GB board with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage is now available for $59

When the Arduino UNO Q was first unveiled in October 2025, the specifications of the Qualcomm DragonWing SBC listed the ABX00162 SKU with 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC flash, and the ABX00173 SKU with 4GB RAM and 32GB eMMC flash.

So far, only the 2GB variant was available, and Arduino has now announced the availability of the Arduino UNO Q 4GB with 4GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC storage for more complex projects.

The Arduino UNO Q (ABX00162) with 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC flash still recommended in projects where low power consumption or low cost are necessary, but people may want to prefer to use the Arduino UNO Q 4GB if they intend to use it as a standalone Debian Linux SBC with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, or when running multiple high-level processes or complex AI or machine learning models that could cause excessive swapping on the 2GB model, as well as when they require substantial built-in storage for logs and data or when using the board to build packages.

As a reminder, the Qualcomm QRB2210 microprocessor runs Debian Linux OS with upstream support, while the STM32U5 microcontroller runs Arduino Code on Zephyr OS. The documentation has more details to get started. What has changed since the original announcement is that people have had the chance to get their hands on UNO Q boards, and created various projects from a desk robot to a gaming arcade, and managed to run software like Scratch visual programming IDE, Klipper 3D printer controller, FreeCAD 3D CAD modeler, and plenty of games. It’s a Linux SBC after all, so most open-source projects should run fine, especially now that the 4GB RAM variant is available.

The Arduino UNO Q 4GB SBC can be purchased on the company’s store for $59, and you’ll also find it on various distributors like Digikey, Mouser, and others. For reference, the Arduino UNO Q 2GB goes for $44.

  1. I don’t really feel this is a good match to the brand Arduino.

I’m not doubting it is a great board for a good price, and I also like Arduinos based on STM32, ESP32, Renesas and others.

But this is a bit a weird a thing: it’s an rpi but not only it is an Arduino but not quite it is a processor module but has also pin headers, a strange mix…

Let’s see if this will be a big success after all crazy ppl like us have bought one and put it in the drawer as a dust collecting paperweight 😀

  2. It runs Debian 13 (6.16.7) out of the box.

    Pretty good bandwidth too: I’m seeing ~7300 MB/sec copies which matches the 14.4 GB/s RAM (2×16-bit LPDDR4X @ 1804 MHz).

It also runs Vulkan since there is decent Mesa support for the Adreno GPU.
