Avalue EMS-ARH is a fanless industrial PC that supports “Arrow Lake-H” Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 processors with wide temperature tolerance, and various I/O options. This compact PC is suitable for industrial, medical, and transportation environments that require silent operation.
The system supports up to 64GB of DDR5-6400 memory via two SO-DIMM slots, NVMe SSD using an M.2 Key-M socket, and wireless or cellular via M.2 Key-E and Key-B slots with SIM support. Additionally, it features two 2.5GbE ports, multiple USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 serial interfaces, 8-bit GPIO, and triple 4K display output via DisplayPort 1.4 and dual HDMI 2.0b. It supports a wide 9-36V DC input, an IET expansion interface (see below for details), and a fanless design for harsh edge deployments.

The EMS-ARH supports Windows 10, Windows 11, and Linux, using a standard AMI UEFI BIOS with ACPI power management, TPM 2.0, watchdog timer, and built-in hardware monitoring for system health, making it suitable for industrial and embedded environments. The company provided an image of the internal motherboard with all the interfaces and connectors marked, which shows the IET (Intelligent Expansion Technology) interface located near the edge of the board, as well as the placement of the M.2 Key-B and Key-E slots along with various jumpers, the SIM socket, and much more, giving us a much better understanding of the model.
Previously, we have written about various other Arrow Lake-H-based fanless industrial PC like the AAEON BOXER-6648-ARS, the ASRock iEP-7040E series, and Vecow ECX-4000 series, but what’s interesting about the EMS-ARH is the inclusion of the proprietary IET (Intelligent Expansion Technology) interface, which allows the base system to pair with various I/O modules, which increases the chassis height from 59mm to 85mm and gives access to interfaces like PoE LAN, additional USB ports, or isolated COM ports without changing the mainboard.
