Seeed Studio’s reComputer Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit GMSL bundle is an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32GB/64GB equipped with eight GMSL2 camera interfaces through two FAKRA connectors.
It’s based on the company’s reComputer Mini J501 carrier board – a smaller version of the reServer Industrial J501 – with 10GbE and GbE RJ45 ports, HDMI 2.1 video output, two USB 3.2 ports, two USB 2.0 Type-C Debug/Recovery ports, and fitted with a 128 M.2 NVMe SSD and an M.2 WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 module, besides the daughterboard with the GMSL2 camera interfaces.

We’ve written about several other Jetson AGX Orin with GSML2 camera support, including Vecow RAC-1000 rugged Edge AI systems and AAEON BOXER-8645AI fanless box PC, which also offer eight camera interfaces, but through eight Fakra-Z connectors. Those are also harder to buy for individuals and research projects, since the companies mainly target the B2B market.
The reComputer Jetson AGX Orin Developer Kit GMSL bundle can easily be purchased online for $1,443.99 with the AGX Orin 32GB or $2,143.99 with the AGX Orin 64GB. The kit includes the reComputer Mini J501 Carrier Board for Jetson AGX Orin with GMSL Extension, a heatsink with fan, the selected Jetson module, a 128GB NVMe PCIe Gen3x4 2280 NVMe SSD, a 19V/4.74A power adapter, and a wireless module kit with external antenna. Alternatively, if you already own a Jetson AGX Orin module, you could select the reComputer Mini J501 Carrier Board for Jetson AGX Orin with GMSL Extension for $359.00. If you prefer a complete solution with similar features and a metal fanless enclosure, the Firefly EC-AGXOrin might be worth a look, although it is listed for $3,369.00.
