The NSPanel Pro Gen2 runs Android with F-Droip app store support. The device is designed for the eWelink app, but also works with Home Assistant, Google Home, Apple Home, and Amazon Alexa. It can act as a Zigbee Hub or a Zigbee Router, and features a built-in Matter bridge for Matter compatibility with SONOFF and third-party WiFi and Zigbee devices and Matter platforms.
SONOFF also highlights support for theme customization, the ability to visit websites, a home security mode (away or at home), integration with smart cameras to use it as a video doorbell, and integration with energy-monitoring solutions.

As one would expect, the NSPanel Pro Gen2 builds upon the NSPanel Pro. The main differences are the dual-channel relay, Rockchip RK3326-S processor instead of PX30, more storage (32GB vs 8GB), dual-band WiFi support, a more recent MG24 Zigbee 3.0 MCU instead of MG21, and a louder 1.5 Watts speaker. We reviewed the NSPanel Pro (86) in 2022 with Zigbee modules and the CAM Slim WiFi camera, and found it worked reasonably well with eWelink, although Suthinee encountered a few bugs, and some features (e.g., scenes) were yet to be implemented at the time. The Smart Home market has evolved quite a lot since then, with Home Assistant being more prominent, and Matter gaining traction.

The NSPanel Pro Gen2 is up for pre-order for $116.90 in white or dim gray, with shipping scheduled to start by June 15. If you don’t plan to use the relay, you may want to add the Desk Enclosure for $9.90 as an option. As usual, you can get a 10% discount with the coupon CNXSOFT, bringing the price down to $105.21 with free shipping.
