Graperain GR1126MB development board is based on a 42x42mm GR1126B 160-pin stamp-hole system-on-module powered by a Rockchip RV1126B AI camera SoC with a 3 TOPS NPU designed for AI vision, machine vision, and edge AI applications.

It’s not quite the first RV1126B system-on-module, as we previously covered the Forlinx FET1126BX-S (40 x 40 mm) with a hybrid 140 stamp holes and 97 LGA pads design, and the Boardcon Tiny1126B (34 x 30 mm) with two 200-pin board-to-board connectors. The Graperain module just provides another option.
The company provides support for BuildRoot and Debian 12 OS, and the GR1126MB board based on the module for evaluation and early software development before the customer’s carrier board is ready.

None of the development resources are available publicly, but besides BuildRoot and Debian 12 images, the company offers an AI framework for deploying AI models for object detection, human and face recognition, license plate recognition, industrial defect Inspection, and Edge AI analytics, as well as an SDK with a Linux BSP, a user manual, and a hardware design guide. The only public documentation is short datasheets describing the interfaces on the module and the development board.
The Rockchip RV1126B AI Vision module is expected to be found in commercial display kiosks, vending machines, educational terminals, automatic identification systems, robots, security surveillance systems, PoS terminals, in-vehicle control terminals, and other applications
