Camthink NeoEyes NE503 is a 4K Edge AI camera platform powered by the Hailo-15H quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC with a 20 TOPS AI accelerator, and paired with 8GB of LPDDR4 memory and a 64GB eMMC flash.
The camera also features a Sony IMX678 4K sensor and an 8–32mm F1.6 AF auto-zoom lens for high-quality monitoring, low-light imaging, and long-range recognition. The camera directly handles high-resolution video input, local multi-model inference, containerized applications, and event-driven workflows on the device, without relying on the cloud or a local server.

The NE503 runs an embedded Linux image built with the Yocto Project, supports containerized applications, and the company provides a REST API, a Python SDK, a Web Console, SSH support, and aipc-cli command line utility. The camera supports OCR, face detection and recognition, ReID, pose estimation, behavior analysis, attribute recognition, and visual search, and ships with several pre-installed models such as YOLOv8n (person detection), Face Landmarks, and CLIP Image Encoder. You’ll find more hardware details and software development resources in the wiki.
We had previously written about Hailo-15-powered products from SolidRun: a system-on-module with Hailo-15M or Hailo-15L, and SolidSense AIoT IP64 AI vision development platform. The CamThink NeoEyes NE503 edge AI camera shares some of the features of the SolidSense AIoT, notably the same Sony IMX678 4K sensor, but optics are better, and it’s a PoE camera, instead of relying on wireless (WiFi, LTE Cat 1bis) connectivity.

CamThink sells the Hailo-15H-powered NeoEyes NE503 4K Edge AI camera for $1199. Those are pre-orders with shipping scheduled for late July 2026. It felt pricey at first, but then I noticed Solidrun offers its HummingBoard Hailo-15 AIOT Basic Evaluation Kit for $979, and that’s without the required $250 IMX678 camera module. More details about the NeoEyes N503 camera can also be found on its product page.
