DEBIX T62P-01 Raspberry Pi-like industrial SBC features TI AM62P SoC, dual GbE with TSN, multi-domain UART

Polyhex Technology has introduced the DEBIX T62P-01, a compact industrial SBC built around Texas Instruments Sitara AM62P quad Cortex-A53/dual Cortex-R5F SoC designed for industrial IoT (IIoT), robotics, Edge computing, and smart terminal/HMI applications.

Measuring 88 × 59 mm, the board supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4 memory, optional eMMC storage up to 256GB, and a MicroSD card slot. It also features two GbE ports, including one supporting PoE via an external PD module, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Security features include hardware secure boot with Root-of-Trust (RoT), an Arm TrustZone-based Trusted Execution Environment (TEE), and a Hardware Security Module (HSM) for cryptographic operations.

On the software side, the DEBIX T62P-01 supports Linux 6.12.y, Android 16, and FreeRTOS for the Cortex-R5F real-time cores.  The company also added a dedicated USB-C debug port that provides access to three distinct UART domains, making it easier to monitor the heterogeneous multicore architecture without juggling multiple serial adapters.

Previously, we saw Variscite introduce the VAR-SOM-AM62P SoM system-on-module based on the TI AM62P5 SoC, and now DEBIX has introduced the T62P-01, an industrial single-board computer (SBC) built around the same processor for edge AI and critical applications.

Like most industrial SBCs, the company has not announced pricing for the DEBIX T62P-01. However, the datasheet states that it will be available in multiple configurations with 2GB, 4GB, or 8GB of RAM, optional 64GB eMMC storage in the standard SKUs (up to 256GB supported), and either a standard (-20°C to 70°C) or wide-temperature (-40°C to 85°C) operating range. More information is available on the product page.
