Previously offered with AMD Ryzen 5/7/9 CPUs, the ACEMAGICIAN Kron K1 mini PC has now gotten a low-cost version based on the AMD Ryzen R2544 quad-core processor paired with 8GB DDR4 and a 256GB SSD and sold for just $279.99 on Amazon.
With everything going up in price, companies are trying to offer more affordable systems. ACEMAGICIAN has decided to use a processor from the Ryzen Embedded R2000 family introduced in 2022 that’s typically found in industrial-grade modules and motherboards such as the AAEON COM-R2KC6 COM Express module or the Kontron D3723-R mini-ITX motherboard.

The mini PC comes with an activated version of Windows 11 Pro. It ships with a power adapter, an HDMI cable, a VESA mount with screws, and a user manual.
The company claims the AMD Ryzen Embedded R2544 processor is faster than AMD Ryzen 3 4300U and Ryzen 5 3500U processors, at least in Cinebench R23 multi-core benchmark… All these are fairly old processors, so don’t expect amazing performance. It will still deliver higher performance than an Intel N150, but should consume more power.
The $279.99 price tag on Amazon is said to be a “limited time deal”. It’s also listed on AliExpress for $235.55 in the same 8GB/256GB configuration, and there’s a 16GB/512GB option for $267.67 on the same page.
