The DFI X6X-ORN is a fanless, IP67-rated Edge AI computer powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX/Nano. It is designed for extreme outdoor and industrial environments in maritime, agriculture, construction, and intelligent transportation applications.
The system fully relies on rugged M12 and M20 circular waterproof connectors for all its I/O, including PoE and GMSL2 camera interfaces. It delivers up to 157 TOPS of AI performance when equipped with the Jetson Orin NX 16GB module, complies with MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration standards, and supports an operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.

The system combines GMSL2 and PoE interfaces for connecting long-range cameras, LiDAR, and other vision sensors. It runs Linux with NVIDIA JetPack 6.2 and supports AI vision applications. An optional Out-of-Band (OOB) management module enables remote power control and system recovery, and allows administrators to reset the system even if the operating system becomes unresponsive.
We previously wrote about the Vecow RAC-1000, a rugged Edge AI computer based on the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module. It also comes with an IP67-rated enclosure, waterproof M12 connectors, and GMSL2 camera interfaces. The DFI X6X-ORN offers many of the same rugged features but is designed around the lower-power Jetson Orin NX and Jetson Orin Nano modules.
DFI has not provided pricing information for the X6X-ORN IP67-rated Edge AI computer. More details are available on the product page and in the press release.
