Waveshare RP2350-POE-ETH is a Raspberry Pi RP2350 board with Ethernet implemented through a W6300 chip, support for optional PoE (Power-over-Ethernet), and two GPIO headers.
We had covered a few Raspberry Pi RP2350 boards with Ethernet from WIZNet, including the W5100S-EVB-Pico2, W5500-EVB-Pico2, and W6300-EVB-Pico2, but none were advertised with PoE at the time. Since then, the 4-pin WizPOE-P1 module changes that, and the Waveshare RP2350-POE-ETH board offers a more affordable option.

Waveshare provides support for MicroPython, C/C++, and Arduino programming languages. You’ll find further technical details (e.g., PDF schematics, pinout diagram…) and instructions to get started on the wiki and a GitHub repository with the firmware and an MQTT over Ethernet code sample reporting battery information in all three languages.
Besides the RP2350 PoE boards from Waveshare and WIZNet, you’ll also find a wider range of ESP32-based PoE boards or products such as the M5Stack Unit PoE-P4, MakerFabs MAUWB for Home Assistant, Waveshare ESP32-P4-ETH, and others.

The RP2350-PoE-ETH board is available in four variants (no PoE, no PoE + soldered headers, PoE, PoE + soldered headers) for $16.19 to $20.33 on AliExpress, $21.11 to $27.99 on Amazon, and $13.99 to $18.99 on the Waveshare store.
