There are now not one but two alternatives to the discontinued ODROID-H2+ SBC with the ODROID-H3 and ODROID-H3+ single board computers powered respectively by an Intel Celeron N5105 and Pentium N6005 Jasper Lake processor. Both new SBCs support up to 64GB RAM, significantly faster Intel UHD graphics, an M.2 PCIe Gen 3 socket, and keep the same port assignment with two 2.5GbE ports, two SATA ports, as well as two USB 3.0 and two US 2.0 ports. Intel recently announced they would kill the Celeron and Pentium brands for entry-level PCs, and replace these with the “Intel Processor” brand for notebooks from 2023 onwards, meaning we would get “Intel Core” and “Intel Processor” processors depending on the market segment. The Intel N100 & N200, or more exactly the Intel Processor N100 and Processor N200, Alder Lake-N SKUs may be the first chips with the new branding. They were discovered by Coelacanth-Dream while looking at some Linux boot logs. Intel Processor N100:

Both processors appear pretty similar but the boot logs show the N100 with an 800 MHz base frequency, and the N200 with a 1,000 MHz base frequency. UP Squared 2 is a compact single board computer powered by either an Intel Celeron N6210 or Pentium J6426 “Elkhart Lake” processor with up to 16GB RAM, 64GB eMMC flash, 4K capable HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and more. Slightly smaller than two business cards, the UP Squared 2 is an upgrade of the UP Squared SBC introduced in 2016 with Intel Celeron N3350 or Pentium N4200 “Apollo Lake” processor. Beelink’s newly launched U59 Pro addresses the weak graphical performance offered by the original Beelink U59, which we also noticed in the Beelink MINI S, and was a direct result of the iGPU limitations. By simply upgrading the CPU from a ‘desktop’ to ‘mobile’ Celeron processor the iGPU received a fifty percent boost in execution units. Beelink kindly sent one for review and I’ve looked at performance running both Windows and Ubuntu. Alder Lake processors were first formally announced at the end of 2021 with the most powerful H-Series, followed by a range of Alder Lake Edge IoT processors, and in February, Intel officially launched Alder Lake P-Series and U-Series mobile hybrid processors which I had expected to find in several mini PCs by now. But apart from ASRock iBOX 1200 Series announcement, and leaks of the NUC 12 Studio Pro, I had not really seen any.
