When you completed the steps below screenshot capability wil= l be enabled on your device. However, Android will automatically disable it= after every reboot / reset, so you will need to enable the screenshot capa= bility after every reboot. We cannot prevent the disabling of the functiona= lity after every reboot / reset, it is how Android is designed, apologies f= or that. Your device will NOT be rooted by using this, after a simple reboo= t everything will be the same as before again.

Step 1

You will need to enable "Debug Mode" under the Set= tings/Applications/Development settings folder on your device. Go to Settin= gs > Applications > Development > USB debugging. Depending on your= device you might find the USB Debugging on some other location in the sett= ings page. If you are running Android 4.2 or higher you need to go to Setti= ngs > About phone > click multiple times on the build number option t= ill a popup says that developer mode has been enabled. After that follow th= e same steps at the beginning of this step.

Step 2

Download and install the USB drivers for your Android device= on your computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) if you haven't installed them= yet. You can also try to continue with the next step if you think the driv= ers are installed, if the next steps don't work just go back to this st= ep. The USB drivers for your phone can be found on the manufacturers websit= e from your Android device. Below we have listed some links where you can f= ind USB drivers for your device, however, most links only work if you visit= them from a computer and not a mobile device. If a link is broken you can = just email us and we will send an up to date list. Also, the links below ma= inly work on Windows, if you need drivers for Mac or Linux you need to visi= t the manufacturers website. In order to download the files on your compute= r you can email the manual to yourself using the email button at the top.

Google
You can find the overview here (1) or download directly from here (= windows) (2) and read the setup instructions here (3).

Samsung
You can visit one of the following websites to download Kies which contains= the USB drivers for your Android device: US (4) / UK (5) / CA (6). Or= you can download the drivers directly from here: download for X86 (windows) (7) / download fo= r X64 (windows) (8).

HTC
You can download HTCSync which contains the USB drivers from here (9).

Motorola
You can download the drivers for your Motorola device from here (10).

LG Electronics
You can download the drivers from the LG Electronics website here (11) or download it directl= y from here (windows) (12).

Other phones
If you can't find your drivers you can have a look here (13) for OEM USB dr= ivers or you can try to search it on Google. Also, you can try installing <= a href=3D"http://pdanet.co/a/">this (14) application which contains a l= ot of different drivers for different devices.

Step 3

Disconnect all Android devices from your computer and connec= t the device you want to be able to take screenshots with to your computer.= If your Android device shows a popup with "Turn on USB storage" = you need to ignore it by pressing the back key or the home key.

Step 4

Download a ZIP file from here (15) to yo= ur computer (and not to your Android device) and extract it on your compute= r. You will need it for the next step. In order to download it to your comp= uter you can email this manual to yourself using the button at the top.

Step 5

Open the folder with the extracted files on your computer (a= nd not on your device) and run "start_windows.bat" when you are o= n a Windows computer. If you are on a Linux or OSX computer run "start= _linux_osx.sh" using the terminal. If you're on Linux or OSX and g= et an error you might need to chmod the script, for help with that or other= problems you can always contact us.

Step 6

Once the file has been run the screenshot capability has bee= n enabled on the device. In %appname% go to Settings > Capture methods &= gt; Detect (auto) so the available screenshot methods can be detected. Afte= r the list with screenshot methods is shown select a screenshot method. If = not screenshot method is available please check the troubleshooting below a= nd if it afterwards still doesn't work please contact us.

Troubleshooting

The detecting of available capture methods doesn't= work!
It is possible this method does not work on your device. If not, you can al= so use the installation files from other screenshot apps available. If you = use another screenshot app, %appname% will be able to use the same method. = Or you can have a look at rooting your device, however, that is really comp= lex and should only be done if you know what you are doing. If you did root= your device after you installed %appname%, please uninstall and reinstall = %appname% again.

The running of the files gives an error!
Make sure the USB debugging from step 1 is enabled. Also try another USB po= rt to connect your device to your computer.

The running of the files hangs!
That might be because the wrong USB drivers have been installed, please try= to install other drivers from your manufacturers website and make sure to = reboot your computer after installation.

The screenshot is distorted (switched colors, mirrored= and/or rotated)!
You can adjust this by opening %appname% and go to Setting > Screenshot = adjustments

The screenshots I get are black!
Please make sure the application is installed to the internal storage and n= ot the external storage. If it is installed to the external storage please = install it to the internal storage and try again. If the problem persists p= lease contact us.

It still doesn't work!
Please contact us so we can help you. You can email us at %email%
