ClearLink EtherNet/IP motion and I/O controller supports 4 axes of motion control

A few weeks ago, we wrote about ClearCore Arduino compatible industrial I/O and motion controller that can be programmed with the Arduino IDE or a C/C++ SDK. Teknic has now announced ClearLink with basically the same hardware, but instead of being programmable in C++, the controller is managed over the EtherNet/IP protocol. Axiomtek’s Compact Fanless Embedded System Features Intel Processors

Axiomtek has announced eBOX560-52R-FL, which is a palm-size fanless embedded system featuring Intel Core and Celeron Whiskey Lake-U processors. We also saw ICP Germany’s fanless Linux embedded system featuring NXP i.MX 8M processor. This device was dedicated to IoT gateways and data acquisition applications. In contrast, the eBOX560-52R-FL fanless embedded system is for more diverse use cases including machine and logistics automation, station gate controls, and ticket vending machines. The eBOX560-52R-FL fanless embedded system comes with two independent 4K Ultra HD displays via DisplayPort++ and HDMI ports. Raspberry Pi CM4 Panel PCs offer IP67 protection, 7-inch display

We just have covered Raspberry Pi CM4 in CutiePi 8-inch tablet, but I don’t think I’ve seen the latest Raspberry Pi Compute Module inside a panel PC that typically offers additional interfaces such as Ethernet, RS232, or CAN bus for industrial applications. ADLINK launches SMARC Short Size Module, Devkit with NXP i.MX 8M Plus

ClearCore – An Arduino compatible Industrial I/O and Motion Controller

Teknic, a US-based manufacturer of servo motion control components, has designed ClearCore, a Microchip SAME53 Arm Cortex-M4 based industrial I/O and motion controller that can be programmed with the Arduino IDE for quick prototyping, or Atmel Studio 7 with a more advanced C++ API for more complex projects. ClearCore offers four motion axes, 24-volt compatible analog and digital I/O, support for I/O expansion modules, as well as serial and/or Ethernet connectivity via RJ45 ports. ECS LIVA M300-W industrial mini PC is powered by Rockchip RK3399K SoC

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) is mostly known for its x86 motherboards and mini PCs, but earlier with year, ECS LIVA Q1A Arm mini PC was introduced with either Rockchip RK3288 or RK3399 SoC, and support for Linux and Android operating systems.
