MeLE Overclock X2 slim Twin Lake mini PC ships with up to 32GB DDR4 SO-DIMM memory

MeLE Overclock X2 is a slim mini PC powered by an Intel Processor N150 Twin Lake CPU and equipped with up to 32GB of replaceable DDR4 SO-DIMM memory instead of the usual soldered-on LPDDR4/5 typically found on this type of ultrathin mini PC. It has basically the same design as the earlier Overclock4C mini PC with an Intel N95 Alder Lake-N CPU, and the older Overclock3C based on Celeron N5095 Jasper Lake processor. AAEON UP TWL and UP TWLS – Two credit card-sized, wide temperature Twin Lake SBCs

AAEON UP TWL and UP TWLS are two new credit card-sized single board computers (SBCs) based on the Intel Twin Lake processor family and operating in a wide -20°C to 70°C temperature range. Both models feature a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and an HDMI video output. The UP TWL SBC also comes with a 40-pin GPIO header, and the processor is underneath the board. The UP TWLS board has a thinner design once cooling is taken into account, similar to the UP 710S released late last year, with the processor positioned on top of the PCB, wafers for GPIOs and RS232/RS422/RS485, and an M.2 socket for WiFi. AAEON has just introduced upgrades to its Alder Lake-N-powered UP Squared 7100 and UP Squared Pro 7000 SBCs with the UP Squared TWL and UP Squared Pro TWL development boards equipped with Twin Lake CPUs, either Intel Core 3 Processor N355, Intel Processor N250, or Intel Processor N150. Both SBCs can operate in the -20°C to 70°C temperature range, support up to three independent displays, and offer M.2 expansion sockets for storage and wireless, a 40-pin GPIO header, RS232/RS485 interfaces, and three USB ports. We’ve previously seen the new Intel N150 “Twin Lake” processor in mini PCs such as Beelink EQ14 and ASUS NUC 14 Essential among others, but the new quad-core CPU is now also found in HUNSN RJ42 and RJ43 fanless network appliances with four 2.5GbE RJ45 ports. They also double as mini PCs with multiple video outputs and USB ports. The mini PCs ship with up to 32GB RAM and 512GB of storage, support four independent displays through HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C interfaces, and offer five USB Type-A ports for expansion. ZimaBoard 2 Review – Part 2: An Intel N150 micro server and mini PC tested with ZimaOS, Ubuntu 24.04

We’ve already checked out the hardware of the ZimaBoard 2 micro server in the first part of the review with an unboxing and a teardown of the Intel N150 mini PC, followed by a first boot to ZimaOS and a walk-through of the web dashboard to see what features it had to offer. I’ve now connected two SATA drives to the ZimaBoard 2 and done further testing with ZimaOS, notably checking system information and testing storage and networking performance. I also installed Ubuntu 24.04 on the ZimaBoard 2 for further testing for people preferring to use the system as a mini PC with SATA storage.
