Vecow SPC-9000 fanless embedded system is powered by the 14th Gen Intel Core Ultra 7 165U or Core Ultra 5 135U 12-core Meteor Lake processor and targets Edge AI applications for factory management, data acquisition & monitoring, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), Smart Retail, and more. The device supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, offers M.2 PCIe sockets and a 2.5-inch SATA bay for storage, can drive up to three 4K displays through HDMI, DP, and USB-C ports, features two 2.5GbE ports, and a few USB ports. The SPC-9000 can also be fitted with a 4G LTE module, comes with two RS232/422/485 serial ports, takes a wide 9V-55V DC input voltage range, and can operate up to a -40°C to 75°C temperature range depending on the model. DFI MTH968 Intel Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” COM Express module to power industrial AI PCs

DFI MTH968 is a COM Express Compact Type 6 computer-on-module equipped with an Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake processor designed for industrial AI PCs thanks to the integrated Neural Processor Unit (Intel AI Boost) and designed for industrial automation, smart transportation, and smart agriculture. The PCOM-B65A COM Express module is powered by Intel Core Ultra Processors

Taiwan-based embedded systems manufacturer, Portwell, has announced a new COM Express Type 6 Basic module based on the Intel Core Ultra processor platform. The Portwell PCOM-B65A module is a minimal COM Express module that comes with either one of the H-series or U-series processors in the Core Ultra series. The Intel Core Ultra series (formerly known as Meteor Lake) uses Intel’s 3D performance hybrid architecture (two core microarchitectures on a chip) to optimize performance and distribute workloads efficiently. 2023 Year in review – Top 10 posts, statistics, and what to expect in 2024

It’s the last day and last article of the year, so we will look at some highlights of 2023, some traffic statistics on the CNX Software website, and speculate what interesting developments may happen in 2024. Looking back at 2023 The semiconductor shortage that had happened since 2020 started to fade away in early 2023, and supplies for most electronics components and devices seem to be adequate at this time, so that was a bright spot this year, and hopefully, it will stay that way in 2024 despite geopolitical tensions. We did not have any super exciting new Arm application processors from Rockchip, Amlogic, or Allwinner announced this year, although the Amlogic S928X penta-core Cortex-A76/A55 CPU started to show up in some 8K TV boxes. ASRock Industrial has just announced two NUC Ultra 100 motherboards powered by Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake-H processors namely the Core Ultra 5 125H and Ultra 7 155H with up to 16 cores and 22 threads, and integrating Intel ARC Graphics and the new Intel NPU AI engine. COM Express Type 6 Compact module features 14th gen Intel Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” processor

ADLINK cExpress-MTL is a COM Express Type 6 Compact module based on the just-announced 14th gen Intel Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” processor family with up to fourteen CPU cores in 6P+8E configuration, eight Xe-cores (128 EUs), and an NPU (11pTOPS/8.2eTOPS) in a 15 or 28W TDP thermal configuration delivering up to 1.9x the GPU performance of the previous generation (Raptor Lake). Intel Lunar Lake hybrid mobile processors to integrate on-chip LPDDR5X memory (MoP)

While Intel Meteor Lake mobile processors are yet to become available, we already have a leak that provides quite a lot of details about the next-generation Lunar Lake hybrid mobile processor family (LNL MX) with supports for 8W to 30W base power designs and 16GB or 32GB on-chip LPDDR5x memory (Memory-on-Package, or MoP) to deliver higher memory bandwidth at reduced footprint and power. Developed in collaboration with Microsoft, the new Lunar Lake processor will come with four P-cores and four low-power E-cores, a new generation NPU and GPU architecture for AI workloads, and improved power management for lower power consumption (40% scenario power reduction) and improved battery life.
