Radxa launches NX4 SoM with Rockchip RK3576(J) industrial SoC and NX4IO carrier board

Radxa NX4 is a 260-pin SO-DIMM SoM built around the Rockchip RK3576(J) octa-core Cortex-A72/A53 industrial SoC with a 6 TOPS NPU for edge AI workloads. It supports up to 16GB LPDDR5 memory along with optional SPI flash, eMMC 5.1 (up to 256GB), or UFS 2.0 storage (up to 1TB). Radxa has also introduced the NX4 IO carrier board for the module with an HDMI video output, two 4-lane MIPI CSI camera interfaces, four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, Gigabit Ethernet with optional PoE, and an M.2 M-key 2280 slot for storage, along with various I/Os. The Radxa CM4 is a Raspberry Pi CM4-like compute module built around the Rockchip RK3576(J) octa-core Cortex-A72/A53 SoC and designed for Edge AI and multimedia applications.  The SoC is suitable for Edge AI applications with a 6 TOPS NPU, and the module supports up to 16GB RAM. The system-on-module also features up to 256GB of onboard eMMC storage, a WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 module, and a Gigabit Ethernet PHY. Besides the two 100-pin connectors found on the Raspberry Pi CM4, the Radxa module adds another one, for extra features like UFS 2.0, dual PCIe Gen2, SATA 3,  DisplayPort, and more. Waveshare has recently launched RP2350-CAN, a Raspberry Pi RP2350-powered CAN development board with onboard XL2515 CAN Bus controller and a SIT65HVD230 CAN transceiver. The board supports the CAN V2.0B protocol at up to 1 Mbps, and the XL2515 chip appears to be a clone of the popular Microchip MCP2515 CAN controller. The board includes the same 26 multi-function GPIO pins and USB-C port as found on the Raspberry Pi Pico 2.
