AAEON PICO-ADN2 – A low-profile Alder Lake-N Pico-ITX SBC for space-constrained applications

AAEON PICO-ADN2 is a low-profile Alder Lake-N Pico-ITX SBC powered by an Intel N97 or Core i3-N305 SoC and designed for space-constrained transportation, digital signage, industrial automation, and smart kiosk applications. Its features are very similar to the PICO-ADN4 Pico-ITX SBC introduced in 2023, with up to 16 GB LPDDR5, HDMI, LVDS, and eDP display interfaces, dual Gigabit Ethernet, an M.2 E-Key socket for wireless, multiple USB interfaces, RS232/RS485 interfaces, and more. The main difference is that most standard (and thick) ports have been replaced by low-profile connectors, except somehow the HDMI connector. DEEPX DX-AIPlayer N97 mini PC combines Intel N97 SoC and 25 TOPS DX-M1 AI accelerator

DEEPX has just launched the DX-AIPlayer, an ultra-compact edge AI mini PC with an Intel Processor “Alder Lake-N” N97 SoC and the company’s DX-M1 M.2 AI accelerator module. The system is designed for real-time vision AI applications in robotics, smart cities, and factory automation. We’ve seen plenty of Alder Lake-N mini PCs like the Jetway B420UADN1, the Avalue EPC-ASL, the AAEON UP 710S, and various others, but the DX-AIPlayer N97 is different as it integrates the DX-M1 module via an M.2 2280 M-Key (PCIe Gen 3 x4) slot. Arbor ARES-2100 fanless box PC is another industrial platform based on the new Intel Core Series 3 “Wildcat Lake” processor family, which specifically targets industrial automation, machine vision, and lightweight Edge AI applications. Axiomtek PICO570 Pico ITX SBC with Intel Core Ultra Processors

Axiomtek has recently introduced the PICO570, a high-performance Pico-ITX SBC built around Intel Core Ultra (Series 1) Meteor Lake-U processors. Measuring just 100 x 72 mm, this ultra-compact board with its 11 TOPS NPU is designed for edge AI applications. The PICO570 board is very similar to the AAEON PICO-MTU4 Pico-ITX SBC, but it features a physical 262-pin DDR5 SO-DIMM slot that allows users to upgrade or replace the RAM instead of solder-on LPDDR5 memory, and features an HDMI 2.1 supporting up to 4K resolution at 120Hz. The SBC also features an RS-232/422/485 serial interface, two USB 3.0 ports, and a dedicated SMBus connector for system management.
