ASUS X7433RE-IM-A 3.5-Inch motherboard features Intel Atom X7433RE Amston Lake SoC, dual Ethernet, three display interfaces

ASUS has launched the X7433RE-IM-A, a 3.5-inch industrial motherboard powered by an Intel Atom X7433RE Amston Lake SoC. The processor supports Intel Deep Learning Boost (DL Boost) and Intel AVX2 SIMD instructions to enhance AI processing and accelerate workloads at the IoT edge. The X7433RE-IM-A single-board computer supports up to 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz In-Band ECC memory via a SO-DIMM slot. The Intel Atom X7433RE processor, with integrated Intel UHD Graphics, supports up to three 4K displays through HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and LVDS/eDP 1.2. For storage, the board includes a SATA 3.0 interface and networking is implemented through two Ethernet controllers – Intel i210IT and i226IT (2.5GbE) – with WOL/PXE support. 11.6-inch touchscreen display with In-Cell technology packs IPS panel and 10-point touch into a single layer

Waveshare has introduced an 11.6-inch touchscreen LCD with in-cell technology and 1768 × 828 resolution. The display comes with an IPS panel, a 10-point capacitive touchscreen, and supports HDMI and Type-C interfaces. It includes brightness control through the OSD menu and DDC/CI software. The screen offers a 178° viewing angle and 72% NTSC color gamut, delivering 300cd/m² brightness. While we haven’t yet covered such a large screen with in-cell technology, we previously reviewed the Elecrow CrowVi VF156T, a 15.6-inch ultra-thin IPS touchscreen display. This portable display features mini HDMI and USB-C input ports, making it compatible with various devices, including Windows 11 and Linux mini PCs, laptops, SBCs like the Raspberry Pi 5, and smartphones that support USB-C with DisplayPort Alt mode. Khadas Mind 2 portable mini PC gets Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Ultra 7 155H update, USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 interfaces

Khadas Mind 2 is an update to the Raptor Lake-powered Khadas Mind portable mini PC offered with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Core Ultra 155H Meteor Lake processor. It ships with up to 64GB LPDDR5, PCIe 4.0 storage, and adds Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 interfaces that were missing from the first model. We reviewed the original Khadas Mind Premium with both Windows 11 and Ubuntu 22.04, and its dock, and it was indeed a pretty cool, albeit pricey, device with features like a small built-in battery to move the computer from one room to another without turning it off, and the Mind Link interface enabling connecting to the Khadas Dock for extra peripherals, the Mind Graphics for higher-end graphics, and more. Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus 8-core – A 4 GHz octa-core processor for entry-level Copilot+ PCs and laptops

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X line of ARM-based processors is designed for Windows laptops, offering CPUs capable of competing with Intel and AMD processors. The Snapdragon X Plus (10 core) and Snapdragon X Elite, announced last year, include high-performance NPUs for AI processing. Qualcomm has now introduced the entry-level Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor, targeting the $700 to $900 laptop market instead of the ~$1,300+ asked for something like the Microsoft Surface Laptop 15. It reduces CPU and graphics performance while maintaining the same AI features as the higher-end models. The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus lineup includes two octa-core processors: the X1P-46-100 and X1P-42-100, both built on a 4nm process. We’ve now had time to test the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS mini PC in more detail with the Windows 11 Pro operating system. GEEKOM Mini Air12 Lite Intel N100 mini PC comes with a 9-pin expansion header

GEEKOM Mini Air12 Lite is yet another Intel Processor N100 mini PC whose main differentiating feature is a 9-pin expansion header accessible from the outside for expansion. I initially thought it would be similar to having Raspberry Pi 5 SBC in an enclosure like the Pironman 5, but as we’ll see below it may not exactly be the case. As its name implies, it’s also an evolution of the Mini Air12 mini PC with a lower price due to some cost-cutting. The Mini Air 12 Lite notably ships with 8GB DDR4-3200 and a 256GB NVMe SSD, instead of the 16GB DDR5-4800 and a 512GB NVMe SSD for its older sibling.
