Intel NUC6CAYS NUC Powered by Celeron J3455 Apollo Lake Processor is now Available for $233

Intel unveiled plans for two Apollo Lake NUCs, respectively NUC6CAYS & NUC6CAYH, in summer 2016. The former comes with 2GB memory and 32GB storage with Windows 10 Home preloaded, while the latter is a barebone system. The company has now started to sell the Windows 10 models on Amazon US for $232.99 with free shipping (if you happen to live in the US). ECS Liva Z / ZE Apollo Lake mini PCs Showcased at CES 2017

We first heard about ECS Liva Z mini PCs based on Intel Apollo Lake processors at Computex 2016, but at the time there was very little information about the platforms. Since then Intel has officially launched Apollo Lake processor, and ECS is now at CES 2017 where they showcased ECS Liva Z and Liva ZE mini PCs powered by Intel Celeron N3350, N3450 or N4200 processor. Both models are pretty similar, but Liva ZE adds a 2.5″ SATA bay, a digital microphone input, and four RS232 COM ports. Intel Compute Card is a Business Card Sized Platform for Modular & Upgradeable Computers & Devices

Intel has just introduced their Compute Card, the name likely originating from their Compute Stick & Module series, integrating all main components you’d find in a computer such as a processor, memory, storage, and wireless connectivity into an standardized ultra thin business card sized module that can be used in compatible devices from smart kiosks to security cameras and IoT gateways, as well as computers and laptops. Intel Apollo Lake Compute Sticks Coming in Q2 2017

Apollo Lake processors have been announced in mini PCs, laptops, development boards, systems-on-module, as well as in Intel’s own NUCs. A new leaked roadmap has now revealed that Intel plans to two Apollo Lake “Michigan City” compute sticks sometimes around Q2 2017. There will be two yet-to-be-named models: Windows OS – 2GB RAM, 32GB eMMC flash No OS – 4GB RAM, 64 GB eMMC flash Both devices will come with 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an HDMI port with CEC support, as well as a 1- year warranty.
