Rikomagic DS04 is a new 4K digital signage player running Android 14 on a Rockchip RK3576 octa-core Cortex-A72/A53 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It looks to be a cost-down version of the Rockchip RK3588-powered Rikomagic DS08 8K digital signage player with many of the same ports and features, including two 4K-capable HDMI 2.1 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jack, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, optional 4G LTE, and a few USB ports. Review of Rikomagic DS08 Android 13 digital signage player

Rikomagic has sent me a sample of their DS08 digital signage player for review. It’s based on a Rockchip RK3588 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB eMMC flash, and offers two HDMI 2.1 ports, gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, as well as several USB ports, optical S/PDIF audio output, and more. I was initially not sure I could receive a sample, as Thailand is pretty strict with licenses for this type of hardware, but Rikomagic told us that it would not be a problem when using DDP (delivered duty paid), and the courier handles all paperwork. And indeed we did receive the parcel without issue. Rikomagic DS08 – A Rockchip RK3588-powered 8K digital signage player with RTC and watchdog support

Rikomagic DS08 is a Rockchip RK3588-powered Android 13 digital signage player with 8K and 4K HDMI video outputs, RTC and watchdog support, and support for portrait and landscape orientation. It looks to be an update to the Rockchip RK3288-powered Rikomagic DS02 introduced in 2020. The new model appears to have the same enclosure, but with a slightly different port layout, and much better specifications. Besides an octa-core Cortex-A76/A55 SoC, the system ships with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB eMMC flash, and features a Gigabit Ethernet port, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, optional 4G LTE, and a few USB ports. Android 9.0 digital signage player supports 4G LTE, watchdog timer, screen orientation
