      1. Theorically The cpu of this dongle supports 4k , but if you want 4k from netflix the constructors must pay. So some people suppose that this 1080p is a choice due to the Netflix certification.

So it means that it will be probably easy to make 1080p for this dongle.

        1. I think S805Y processor is limited to 1080p, there’s no 4K capable VPU. They’ve have to go with S905Y or another one of the S905? processor to get 4K.

  1. I reckon that most people looking for a stick based solution will more likely go for an Amazon Fire TV stick.

Whilst Xiaomi  might be a recognised name of sorts for enthusiasts, most of the world (outside of China) will never have heard of them.

There is nothing here that really makes the knees wobble and wallet open.

    1. most of the word has never heard of them?

They are the 4th largest mobile phone brand globally, will probably pass Apple this year.

Their scooters are all over the streets.

  2. Ordered one thanks. Was about to get a chromecast but with full andriod TV this is way more capable than chromecast or amazon fire stick
