Forlinx Embedded has recently released the FCU3011, a compact, fanless industrial AI edge computer built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, designed for 24/7 operations in manufacturing, smart cities, robotics, and machine vision systems, where real-time processing is needed. The fanless system supports NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 4GB (34 TOPS) or 8GB (up to 67 TOPS) configurations, with 4GB/8GB LPDDR5 memory and a 128GB PCIe x4 NVMe SSD. Connectivity options include up to four Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0/2.0, HDMI 2.0 (4K), an SD card slot, optional 4G/5G and dual-band Wi-Fi via M.2 modules, along with industrial interfaces such as isolated RS-485, CAN, opto-isolated inputs, relay outputs, and an RTC. Rikomagic DS08 – A Rockchip RK3588-powered 8K digital signage player with RTC and watchdog support
Rikomagic DS08 is a Rockchip RK3588-powered Android 13 digital signage player with 8K and 4K HDMI video outputs, RTC and watchdog support, and support for portrait and landscape orientation. It looks to be an update to the Rockchip RK3288-powered Rikikomagic DS02 introduced in 2020. The new model appears to have the same enclosure, but with a slightly different port layout, and much better specifications. Besides an octa-core Cortex-A76/A55 SoC, the system ships with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB eMMC flash, and features a Gigabit Ethernet port, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, optional 4G LTE, and a few USB ports. LattePanda IOTA review – An Intel N150 + RP2040 SBC tested with Windows 11, UPS expansion, PoE, NVMe SSD, and more
I’ve received a review sample of the LattePanda IOTA single-board computer (SBC) from DFRobot. It is a compact, palm-sized SBC powered by an Intel Processor N150 quad-core Twin Lake CPU, and featuring 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 64 GB of onboard eMMC storage. It also integrates a Raspberry Pi RP2040 co-processor for handling I/O operations, providing greater flexibility for embedded and automation applications. The Banana Pi BPI-R4 Pro is a new router board based on MediaTek Filogic 880 (MT7988A) Cortex-A73 SoC offering two 10GbE SFP+ cages/RJ45 ports combos, four 2.5GbE RJ45 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and optional WiFi 7 support via the Banana Pi BPI-R4-MIC-BE14 dual mini PCIe module.
