Rikomagic DS04 is a new 4K digital signage player running Android 14 on a Rockchip RK3576 octa-core Cortex-A72/A53 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It looks to be a cost-down version of the Rockchip RK3588-powered Rikomagic DS08 8K digital signage player with many of the same ports and features, including two 4K-capable HDMI 2.1 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jack, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, optional 4G LTE, and a few USB ports. Makerfabs MaTouch ESP32-P4 TFTTouch 10.1 MIPI with 4G LTE is an ESP32-P4 + ESP32-C6-based display development platform for HMI edge AI, and connected embedded applications. We noticed the Rockchip RK3572 mid-range HMI SoC a couple of months ago, and Forlinx has launched the first system-on-module (FET3572-C SoM) based on the processor, along with a development board (OK3572-C) and BSP (Board Support Package) with a fairly recent Linux 6.12 kernel. The octa-core Cortex-A73/A53 processor features a 4 TOPS NPU (the same as in the RK3588) and targets HMI applications leveraging Edge AI for consumer electronics, industrial control, edge computing, smart security, and in-vehicle terminals. Flipper Devices has officially introduced the Flipper One open-source hardware portable Arm Linux platform and networking and Edge AI multi-tool powered by a Rockchip RK3576 octa-core Arm Cortex-A72/A53 SoC, and featuring a Raspberry Pi RP2350 for low-level control. You may think of it as a successor to the popular STM32-based Flipper Zero hardware and wireless hacking tool, but the company stresses that the Flipper One is NOT a replacement for the Flipper Zero. It is a different product with mainline Linux kernel support, no binary blobs (probably not 100% true), and open-source drivers, and operating at a different level of the networking and wireless stacks with dual Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, and optional 5G or 4G LTE modem.
