$200 ACEPC GK2 Mini PC Features Intel Celeron J4105 Gemini Lake Processor

As expected after ACEPC GK1 announcement, the company has now launched ACEPC GK2 mini PC based on a slightly faster Celeron J4105 quad core processor. Beside the processor, the new computer has very similar specifications with 4GB RAM, 32GB flash, dual HDMI, SATA interfaces for M.2 and 2.5″ drives and so on. The enclosure design is however quite different. Vorke V5 Plus is a mini PC powered by an Intel Celeron 3865U dual core Kaby Lake processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Ian Morrison (Linuxium) reviewed the computer in “Vorke V5 Plus Kaby Lake Mini PC Review with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 18.04” post, and concluded that “overall the device performs extremely well. It is competitively priced and represents good value for money given the performance and flexibility”. Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 is Designed for Windows 10 Mobile PCs

As you all probably know, Qualcomm and Microsoft worked together and launched always-on, always-connected Windows 10 mobile PCs powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Arm processor earlier this year. Battery life is spectacular, but considering the fairly high price of such devices, many were disappointed by performance which in many cases is not much better than much cheaper Intel Apollo Lake laptops.
