3U rack mount takes up to 12 NVIDIA Jetson Nano/Xavier NX boards

Myelectronics.nl has launched a 19-inch 3U rack mount taking up to twelve NVIDIA Jetson Nano or Jetson Xavier NX boards building on its experience with rack mount for Raspberry Pi introduced last year.

The new model also includes front removal mounting systems so that you can replace a Jetson board without having to completely remove the rack mount, and even without having to power off the remaining boards since the boards would have to be powered from the DC jack or (not recommended) the Micro USB port on the front panel. PoE is probably not an option, albeit available on the Nano board, due to mechanical constraints.

Jetson nano rack mountSpecifications listed for the rack mount:

3U rack mount enclosure for NVIDIA JetsonThe solution is less dense in terms of the number of SBCs than the equivalent Raspberry Pi rack mount with support for a maximum of 16 boards, due to the obvious height difference with a thick heatsink, but NVIDIA Jetson boards will provide much better performance for AI workloads, especially with Jetson Xavier NX delivering up to 21 TOPS of performance.

MyElectronics sells the 3U rack mount for NVIDIA Jetson board for €175.00 excluding VAT, or €211,75 with VAT with the price including worldwide free shipping.

    1. Yes, I’ve just changed that to just rack mount. Btw, I can see it written as “rackmount” or “rack mount”. I’m not sure which one is the most common. Google has results for both in the millions.
