The mini PC runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit,  and ships with a power adapter, a long 80cm HDMI cable, a short 20cm HDMI cable, a VESA mount, and a user manual  in English. Linux support is likely, but would have to be tested in reviews.

Gemini Lake mini PC with hard drive & SSDIf the design looks similar, it’s because it appears to be a rebranded version of Beelink S2 mini PC where they’ve also replaced the VGA port with an HDMI port.

  1. It’s a bit expensive for only 4GB of RAM. I think once there’s competition this will drop in price and an 8GB version will take its place at this price.

    1. Maybe price can come down a little by around $10 to $20, but not sure much more.
VOYO V1 VMac Mini with 4GB RAM / 64 GB storage, Celeron N3450 Apollo Lake sells for just under $190.
      Similarly spec’d Vorke V1 Plus goes for $176 (Aliexpress) with 4GB / 64GB / J3455.

  2. Pity it doesn’t have an option for dual RAM modules, which increases the graphic performance a lot.

  3. Do you have one of these on the way? I’d love a review.

Fanless scares me with ambient temps up to 27C in my house — tucked away in the corner next to router and modem, it’s sure it undergo thermal throttling if not complete failure.

On the other hand the Vorke V1 Plus with fan would drive me up the wall with its loud irritating fan.

I should’ve gone with the original Vorke V1 but of course it’s no longer available…

    1. It looks like I can’t get Alfawise T1 per se, but I should be able to get Beelink S2 or another model based on this hardware design.

  4. I’ve managed to get one booting Linux from a pen drive (I used a Ubuntu image respun with isorespin.sh using “–apollo” just on the off-chance, but it wont boot from an installed copy. There is an option called “Ubuntu” in the boot select menu, but if I choose it, the menu just reappears. Looking forward to getting it up and running at some point as it is a bit sluggish under Windows.

    1. I can boot to Linux when I include the -b rEFInd option in isorespin.sh. That will do just fine.

      1. Because nobody will send me any of the new Gemini Lake devices for review or development I’ve really no idea as to what the issues are and consequently cannot enhance my ‘isorespin.sh’ script to add support for these devices.
