Earlier today we gave you a bit of information on Qualcomm‘s new Snapdragon S4 Pro developer tablet, but now we’re back with more info thanks to a number of benchmark tests SlashGear has performed. As expected, the Snapdragon S4 Pro delivered some really impressive results in the tests, thanks to its quad-core APQ8064 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and Adreno 320 GPU. Since this tablet is intended for developers, you may not be surprised to hear that it performed well in benchmark tests, but we have a feeling that you’ll be left at least a little impressed nonetheless.

  1. Are these benchmarks presented by Qualcomm themselves?

I mean it’s not fair to present a development Board benchmarks side to side a perfectly stable rom running on a consumer grade in-market hardware like ASUS prime (Available in market for consumers since November -2011) and Samsung S3 (Available in market for consumers since June -2012)

Development boards can be pushed for performance etc. If the other parameters doesn’t restrict it for stable user grade performance etc.

Anyways, you guys know more on this. But I’m disappointed by this performance.

Even though I’m an android fan, Still I admint Apples A5X (A Year old 40nm SOC will eat this in lunch) ,People can go and see anandtechs benchmarks.

  2. @ max
Not sure if the benchmark were done by Qualcomm or Slashgear, but those are standard benchmarks so I see no problem here. I don’t know how to compare those benchmarks with the A5X since Quadrant and Antutu are not available on iOS (AFAIK).
