Hello,
Have you also found that there are no drivers for Linux? (Have the 4x4Box-4800). The company Ashrock is very painless there.
Or have you only tested the device with Windows?

Hey dude for what it’s worth, I ran red hat RHEL8 on my 4×4 4800u for a while with no issues

I have tried linuxmint 20.3. The 2.5 GHz interface does not work and the monitor is not recognized, It only runs at 800×600. There are no drivers available. I return to Intel’s NUC.

Never tried Linux Mint but IIRC it’s based on Ubuntu? If that’s the case at least the 2.5GbE is just a matter of drivers or in other words: more recent kernel version. This will bring you on 5.14:

Looks interesting if it can run Linux without issues.
Also curious about cooling in such a compact form factor. The CPU is very close to a Ryzen 5750GE found in Lenovo M75q Gen2 which doesn’t have the 2.5GbE.

Hard to get excited about an AMD APU product if it’s not Rembrandt. If only because of the major improvements to I/O over Renoir/Cezanne.

Of course, paying for DDR5 right now would be less exciting. Better luck next year.

AMD Ryzen 5 5400U hexa-core processor

That should read “Ryzen 3 5400U” and “quad-core”.
