Great! If you could share a link to instructions and/or the firmware you used with your NEONIQ GTV220 box, it would be nice.

You have to be kidding, right? They screenprint “Full HD 1080p” on the darned thing, you write it up and say it only does 720p and the accusation that they are lying liars who are lying isn’t the lede? Instead you bury it inside a neutral article?

If I complain for that one, I may have to write the same warning for 95% of the media players.

The problem is that it’s very difficult to know the truth without having the sample. I used to develop STBs with 1280×720 or even 800×600 user interfaces, that still decoded 1080p videos and outputted to 1080p. So it’s is not that simple.

This is just a Pivos Xios DS clone with copy of Pivos Linux image, exact same spec.

Pivos Xios DS render XBMC GUI in 720p but output 1080p, suspect that this does the same.

Don’t think Jynxbox have their own developers, instead they just use Pivos’s code.

ooops i forgot to put in the instructions
#1 copy the extracted .img file to a sd or a usb card that formatted as fat32 and make sure it is on the root and not in any folders
#2 save any info you have in your box because we are going to format everything
#3 do not put in your sd card or usb just yet only plug in your keyboard just for now
#4 while holding the reset button (its located under the box) plugin your power cable and wait for the recovery screen to appear
#5 choose option factory reset or something like that when thats done choose the option below that clear partition cache
#6 now take out the power cable and plug in your sd or usb card and whitest holding the reset button plugin your power cable and wait for the box to reboot. once the update process is finished the box will reboot on its own
also if you are using a usb it may not automatically start the update process you may need to click into a folder and select the update.img file
if you get an error it may be because your box may be a m3 and not a m1 version it is very hard to tell the difference because at the back of my box it says model m3 but i know it is model m1 i think factory model is m1 and distributor model is m3 so another words neoniq company names this box m3
    and GOOD LUCK PEOPLE
