The TV box runs Android 13.0 with the Google Play store and supports OTA firmware upgrades, but it’s unclear whether it’s running Android TV or the standard Android OS for mobile devices. The H96 Max M7 ships with an HDMI cable, an IR remote control, a power adapter, and a user manual.

We previously wrote about TV boxes with built-in speakers such as the MECOOL HomePlus, SEI 520, and MXQ HF10, but those doubled as smart speakers while the H96 Max M7 is simply an Android TV box with stereo speakers.

We first found the H96 Max M7 on Bangood where it is sold for $59.99 in 2GB/16GB configuration or $64.99 with 4GB RAM and 32GB flash, but you’ll also find it on Aliexpress for $34.94 and up including shipping.
