GENE-ADP6 – An 3.5-inch SBC with Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake-P processor, DDR5 RAM

AAEON GENE-ADP6 is a 3.5-inch SBC equipped with a choice of Intel 12th Gen Alder Lake-P (and Alder Lake-U) processors and the first from the company to support DDR5 memory, of which up to 64GB can be installed through two SO-DIMM sockets. The single board computer also supports SATA and NVMe storage, up to two 8K displays (and up to four independent displays), 2.5GbE networking, USB 3.2 ports, four RS232/RS422/RS485 interfaces, and further expansion through three M.2 sockets for wireless connectivity (WiFi, 5Gm, 4G LTE…) as well as the already mentioned NVMe SSD storage. ZOTAC ZBOX PI336 PICO mini PC gets an Elkhart Lake upgrade with Intel Celeron N6211

The last time we wrote about the ZOTAC ZBOX PICO PI336 mini PC it featured an Intel Celeron N4100 Gemini Lake processor, but the company appears to have launched an upgrade with an Intel Celeron N6211 Elkhart Lake processor instead. The new ZBOX PI336 PICO fanless mini PC also gets more storage up to 128GB eMMC flash, but the rest of the specifications remain pretty much the same with 4GB RAM, HDMI & DisplayPort video outputs, three USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFI, and Bluetooth, although some of the interfaces got a version bump for additional performance. Nano-U12P – An 8K digital signage player powered by an Intel Alder Lake processor

Alder Lake processors were first formally announced at the end of 2021 with the most powerful H-Series, followed by a range of Alder Lake Edge IoT processors, and in February, Intel officially launched Alder Lake P-Series and U-Series mobile hybrid processors which I had expected to find in several mini PCs by now. But apart from ASRock iBOX 1200 Series announcement, and leaks of the NUC 12 Studio Pro, I had not really seen any.
