Intel launches NUC 11 Essential mini PC, Kits, and SBC with Jasper Lake SoC

Details about the Intel NUC 11 Essential “Atlas Canyon” mini PCs with Jasper Lake processor were leaked in May 2021, but Intel has now made it official with the “launch” of five NUC 11 Essential SKUs with one Windows 11 mini PC with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, three kits (bare mini PC), and one bare board all listed on Ark Intel.

I put “launch” between quotes because it’s only “launched” as stated on Ark Intel, but it does not look like it’s available for sale just yet, but now at least we get confirmation about the specs from the leak that was fairly accurate, except Intel did not launch 10W Jasper Lake J-Series processors, and both 6W and 10W Jasper Lake processors are part of the N-Series.

3D renders from the earlier leak since I’m unable to find photos at this time.

Windows 11 is pre-installed on the mini PC, but the NUC 11 Essential hardware also supports Windows 10 and Linux. As mentioned above, I can’t find any SKUs for sale online, but it should only be a matter of time since the launch date is shown as Q1 2022 on Intel’s website.

    1. Wow thanks, I am based in the EU and the prices seem to always be higher than the US. I see 199€ which is much higher than 185$.. I am not sure why? Maybe the VAT is not included in the US price?

  1. When and where can this be purchased? It’s exactly what I was looking for. I hope it won’t be more than 200$..

    1. Probably in a few weeks. Intel has plenty of distributors, so you should be able to find it in your own country without having to import it. It will probably be more than $200.
